Principal and founder of ICR Consulting, Phil Shaw has a passion for functional environmentally responsive designs. He leads the design team to create innovative residential, commercial, workspace and industrial projects throughout New Zealand and the Cook Islands.

Phil has the industry experience to tackle complex briefs, working around design challenges with lateral thought and innovation. As a New Zealand Green Star Accredited Professional, Phil always looks for ways to incorporate sustainable design principles into his projects. Phil is also a professional member of the Architectural Designers NZ Inc. and currently sits on the committee for industry development.

When he's not working, Phil enjoys the outdoors: mountain biking and more recently paragliding. Having retired from mountaineering some time ago, he now spends time exploring and photographing exotic destinations around the world with his wife Suzanne.
