48 Hour Design Competition

Phil was invited to compete as part of a design led competition organised by Christchurch City Council for fresh ideas to redevelop the Christchurch CBD Red Zone which was devastated by the September and February Earthquakes. 15 teams with one mutual objective - To rejuvenate the city.

Phils team was allocated the Orion site which required a new headquaters. We felt that the new headquaters had to complement the existing heritage buildings while providing a 'green zone' and a new public swimming pool complex.
