Good Health Products - ADNZ Award-Commercial: Finalist 2006 Auckland Regional

This project was complex, needing the integration of warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, laboratory facilities, offices and marketing services.

The manufacturing areas required strict compliance with both local and international standards. The design team evaluated each production discipline including warehousing and logistics activities, from which a building footprint was established.

The production area was particularly difficult. The design team had to create a way to restrict entrance into the production area to approved personnel only. It also required specific clean room procedures to maintain sterile areas. Designing fire protection was challenging and complex with each production area needing specific air handling specifications.
